Research Performance Progress ReportRPPR
The standardized annual report on a grant's progress that most federal agencies require to release the next year's funds.
The RPPR is the uniform format federal agencies use for annual (and sometimes interim and final) progress reporting. It covers accomplishments, participants and their effort, products such as publications, and plans for the next period.
For continuing awards, an accepted RPPR is typically a condition of releasing the next budget period's funds, so a late or incomplete report can delay funding.
A missed or late RPPR holds up the next year's money: deadlines are firm and easy to lose track of across multiple awards.
